As you know at 15 I made my choice and I've never once regretted it. Like you, yes I could've done more, saved more, seen more and so on and so on. I'm not sure that all the planning in the world means anything. It's all about doing. I agree that we should talk to our kids about life and all it brings to the table. Just remember that like us they'll live it their way. As long as they are productive members of society I say bravo to the Mom who made it so. I was pushed by my parents toward a technical college even though I got a scholarship to a big University.BUt even that was a big deal because they didnt push any of the girls toward school. I think they just didnt know. THey were blue collar (h.s. education...dad not even that far) mill working, kitchen line working...very hard working with too many kids. So I did the two year degree first and then got out of their world and into mine. The last time I went back to school was when my kid was older and I was in my 40s so ya got time. My sister got her masters in education at 50. I have two really great careers thanks to never ending education. ( I can die with school loan debt...Im ok with that!). When I was five I had wanted to be a dachsund so I guess that never really worked out for me. sorry this is so long but you really got me thinking.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13864898827831713032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7333447314440516752.post-70762546445921288902013-05-14T17:57:20.310-04:002013-05-14T17:57:20.310-04:00It's never too late to re-invent yourself.
